Being an artist can be quite solitary, so when you get stuck it can be hard to know what to do.

It can feel like you’re going round in circles, reading advice online, looking at different options but still left overwhelmed and unsure of what step to take next. I can clearly remember being in that position myself and what I really wanted was a real person to talk things through with.

I have always enjoyed answering questions from other artists and have now decided to offer a session people can buy and schedule into their week.

Things we can cover in a One to One session

  • How to establish a regular creative practice after a break

  • Finding the time in your life to be creative

  • Planning and creating a series

  • Starting to exhibit and sell your art

  • Showing up and sharing on social media

  • Starting with artist newsletters or websites.

Discussing issues with another artist who has been where you are now can help bring a sense of clarity and direction.

About me

When I graduated with a Fine Art degree I had no idea about the business side of working as an artist. Over the last 8 years I have learnt things by figuring things out myself, doing professional develpment, and receiving help from artists that are further ahead of me in their career.

Since starting painting on tiny scraps of paper at home while my daughter was at Kindergarten in 2015 I’ve since been showing with galleries, hosting open studios, and sending work to homes around the world. I have been commissioned to create work for both residential and commercial spaces .
